Standing on the edge of the 'Waddenzee' (Wadden Sea), yet very close to the

For a period of two years a group of trade workaholics worked on the restoration of the harbour crane. For decades now the silhouette of the crane dominates the skyline from Harlingen. Since September 2003 it is possible to view the Harlingen skyline and the 'Waddenzee' from the height of the crane.
The restoration of the harbour crane was performed using all the experience obtained in working with the lighthouse and the rescue boat. The untouchable height of the crane and the freedom of a lodging on the water. In addition: you can revolve the crane to suit you view.!

The harbour crane is available from 16.00 h. on the day of arrival to 12.00 h. on the day of leave.Care and personal contact is very important. Therefore you can't place a booking online. The accommodation is for a lodging for two persons. Receiving guests is not permitted. Pets are not allowed due to safety and hygiene. A stay on the harbour crane is at your own risk. The lodger is responsible for any damages of the crane, it's facilities or third party damages.
There can be situations beyond our control which forces us to cancel a reservation. In that case we will refund. Guest can cancel without cost until 28 days before the reserved date. After that there will be no refund.
Smoking in and round the crane is prohibited.
