A romantic lodging in an authentic furnished trailer!
On the mini camping "Het Boheems Paradijs" (Bohemian paradise) in The Netherlands you can take a pick from ten different trailers. The different trailers are suitable for 2 to 8 persons.
All trailers are as much as possible originally furnished with authentic furniture, nostalgic lighting, antique china and romantic beds. Every trailer is differently furnished to give them their own unique ambience. This way you can pick the trailer you like best.
The 'Boheems Paradijs' has a Belgian trailer from (around) 1953, a bright multicolored Belgian circus trailer from around early 50s, a 'clowns trailer', an original 'Tielse platenwagen' (plated wagon) from around 1958, A 'Tielse platenwagen' from around 1960, a round Irish trailer from the early 70s, a 'Zelhemse platenwagen' from around 1962 and a 'Tielse platenwagen' from around 1965, completely furnished oriental, a wooden trailer and a 8 persons trailer.

The mini camping "Het Boheems Paradijs" opens from the 1st of April and remains open untill the 1st of November.
The camping and gardens are designed and built by a certified gardener. Not rectangular fields, but 15 very large places with a nice garden.Since 2005 the mini camping has nice sanitary fixtures. There is a family shower for the small children, a washing place and a dryer.
There is a little playground for the young children and a trampoline for the somewhat older children. You can go there for other sports too: a small field to play soccer and a field to play volleyball.
The mini camping has a recreational facility, for about 25 tot 35 persons, with refrigerator, china and cooking equipment.
If you're planning to arrive by horse and carriage, you can put your horse in the horse meadow. You can buy ice cream at the neighbours and across the street you will find the restaurant "De Tovenaarsberg" (wizzards mountain), where guests of "Het Boheems Paradijs" get an 10% discount.
Vicinity
The 'Boheems Paradijs' is situated in the scarcely populated south-east of the beautiful province Drenthe. Den Hool is a beautiful old small farmers village (10 houses) with sheer roofed farms and a small village square. The mini camping is situated at the 'Pieterpad' and the 'Fietserpad'.Near and around the mini camping you can find a lot recreational facilities.
In the neighbourhood are situated:
- recreational lake 'Ermerstrand' with a water-skiing, open air pool 'de Zandpol' and nature reserve 'Zandpol';
- 'Drentche Schans' excursion farm & beer tasting (on the other side of the road). Minimum 15 persons;
- Hotel en biological restaurant 'de Tovenaarsberg'. 3-course menu from 27,50 (mostly biological, 10% discount for the 'Boheems Paradijs' guests, you do need to book in advance);
- Countless sightseeing trips by bicycle or on foot for small and large distances.
