In this hotel you find a lot of collectables, rarities and antiques. The 10 rooms are all beautiful furnished. It is not allowed to smoke in the rooms, but in the hotelbar you are allowed to. In the garden you can find a pavilion with a sauna and a Turkish bath. This is suitable for two persons; you have to make your reservations before arrival.
Little dogs are allowed in Hotel De Stokerij. Your dinner you can take in several restaurants in the neighbourhood who cooperate with Hotel De Stokerij.
Several rooms are accessible for disabled in the hotel.
Six of the ten rooms in Hotel De Stokerij has a dubble whirlpool. All rooms are different furnished: there is the Antique Room, the Bristol Room, the Cheese Room and the Knox Room. If you like, you can order a breakfast-basket to deliver, so you can sleep a little bit longer.
The Vicinity
Hotel De Stokerij is situated between seaside resort Oostende (9 km) and the beatiful old town Brugge (25 km).
In Oudenburg, where Hotel De Stokerij is settled, there is a wine orchard with wine tasting. The area has a beautiful nature, you can take several bicycle tours and car tours in the vicinity.
Ostend has beatiful beaches, there is also a casino in town. In Ostend they organize a lot of cultural events.
You really have to visit Brugge (Bruges) once. The city centre is spectaculair, that is why Unesco placed the complete city center on the World Heritage List. Between the twisting, narrow alleys and the romantic little canals (reien) it is as you are back in the middle ages.
Brussels is at 109 kilometres and Antwerp on 115 kilometres. In Belgium there are several attraction parcs: Plopsaland (30 km), Bellewaerde Park (75 km), Bobbejaanland (134 km) and Walibi Belgium (145 km).
